 AVHS Key Club will be hosting another event with Fertile Groundworks this Friday, November 16, 2018. This event will be held behind the Asbury United Methodist Church (4743 East Ave, Livermore).
In the past, we have both planted and harvested various vegetables. Everytime we visit we always have a unique and wonderful experience, and to be able to give back to our tri-valley community is always a perk. As a resident in Pleasanton, we are all so quite privileged and it’s always necessary to lend a helping hand and do very easy manual labor. Just last May we went to Fertile Groundworks and we planted zucchini, cucumber, and tomato, which was so enjoyable. Everyone who went bonded over the first event of the 2018-2019 term and many of us can’t wait to go back.
