Hey Blue Devils!!
Reminder that we are having a meeting tomorrow at Q-108 during lunch! We will be learning different cheers and having some fun, make sure to come!
Cya there :))
Last opportunity to volunteer this month, so don’t wait to jump at the opportunity!
This Friday, November 30, 2018, we as a club will be going to Joni & Friends, where we will help disabled people. Located in Dublin, 6400 Village Pkwy #102, Dublin, CA 94568.
Right after school at the Joni and Friends Ministry, where mass is accessible to all disabled people from age less than one to over 100 years old. This ministry runs solely on volunteers, like our club, therefore it’s important for us to lend a helping hand.
Right before too much turkey stuffing and gravy, we will be helping the Walnut Creek turkey trot! This is going to be another district-wide service event (DSW) down in Walnut Creek. Everyone participating will be helping out with race festivities!
On Thursday, November 22 at 7am-10:30 am, the Civic Park, 1375 Civic Dr, Walnut Creek, CA 94596.
Basically, all proceeds go to local communities like food banks, WCEF (Walnut Creek Education), PEAK (Promoting Environmental Awareness for Kids), and The Wellness City Challenge (empower citizens, to improve health).
“This Thanksgiving, we celebrate the 26th Anniversary of the Walnut Creek Turkey Trot, brought to you by Forma Gym. Let's run! Before the big meal, games, and pumpkin pie why not get a little exercise with a few thousand of your neighbors” says Forma Gym.
In fact, this is not only a great way to earn service hours, but it also helps Walnut Creek thrive!
Annual Thanksgiving festivities! Join the entire Division 26 South in our Thanks-key-ving Potluck. There will be food, which many people can bring, or pay the three dollar fee. Held at 5:30-9:00 on Sunday, November 18, 2018, in Danville Grange Hall 743, Diablo Road, Danville, which is a distance from Pleasanton, but contact any of the officers and we will find you a ride.
This is an opportunity to not only have some fun over break but also get to know people from other schools.
Spend some time with your Key Club family, and celebrate the holidays with us!

AVHS Key Club will be hosting another event with Fertile Groundworks this Friday, November 16, 2018. This event will be held behind the Asbury United Methodist Church (4743 East Ave, Livermore).
In the past, we have both planted and harvested various vegetables. Everytime we visit we always have a unique and wonderful experience, and to be able to give back to our tri-valley community is always a perk. As a resident in Pleasanton, we are all so quite privileged and it’s always necessary to lend a helping hand and do very easy manual labor.
Just last May we went to Fertile Groundworks and we planted zucchini, cucumber, and tomato, which was so enjoyable. Everyone who went bonded over the first event of the 2018-2019 term and many of us can’t wait to go back.
If you are free definitely join us and it will be so rewarding to see the progress once we finish, and a perfect break after school.
